Author Event: Caroline Earleywine

Welcome to WordsWorth Books

On Wednesday, May 8, at 6:30 PM, WordsWorth is excited to host local author Caroline Earleywine, in conversation with Viktoria Capek, as Earleywine presents her debut full-length poetry collection, I Now Pronounce You.

RSVPs are encouraged and much appreciated! Please click here to RSVP for this free event.

In this collection, Caroline Earleywine takes us on the journey of a daughter processing the emotional landscape of her parents' divorce, an Arkansas public school teacher coming to terms with her queerness, and a wife navigating the vulnerable work it takes to love your partner along with yourself as you both grow and change. Earleywine's lyricism is as sharp as it is inviting, and so is her portrayal of a more nuanced truth. She leaves no stone unturned in her quest to free herself from the weight of shame and silence while trying to honor the truth of those around her.

Caroline Earleywine is a poet and educator who has 10 years of experience teaching high school English in Central Arkansas. She has been nominated for Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net, and was a finalist for Nimrod's Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry in 2021. Her work has been published in various publications including Glass, Barrelhouse, NAILED Magazine, and others. Caroline earned her MFA from Queens University in Charlotte. She resides in Little Rock with her wife and two dogs. You can follow her work at
